Old Tv shows and stars

What happen to the old stars that when tv shows were good family entertainment not like today shows .At least that how I remember the shows we use to gather around the tv when our favorite show was on the night it was good family togetherness and on commercial we would talk about daily events in our life.It was more family time.Now days the stars we have they air all of their dirty laundry out not like the days when stars were stars are kept a private life private.There was a mystic about them . Which I think it made better tv and movies. I sure would like to let the filmmaker know we like the old shows were great not the trash we have today.Every time I go and look for a old stars or singer I find out they have past away. I did not even hear on the news.Where did these greater stars go .I would like to know why we forget these great stars.Just like taking out the trash and getting new.We need to appreciate this old timers.How many live poor lives after they retired and lost there fortune like Dick Sargent .We still enjoy watching the rerun of these shows but they are for gotten.

John Wayne was the best actor in the old western movies no one can complete with him yes he past away but no one has even try to be the best like John Wayne. How many of us still watch his films I do and still enjoy them . New movies will never be has good as them.
